Registered Dietitians will be eligible for registration if currently registered with another Canadian Dietetic Regulator who is a signatory to a Mutual Recognition Agreement with the College, and documentation can be provided indicating they meet the requirements for recognition under the Agreement. If you are registered with a Canadian Dietetic Regulator that is not a signatory to an agreement you may be eligible for registration but further assessment may be required.

Temporary Practice in Alberta

If you are a Registered Dietitian temporarily practicing in Alberta you must apply for a temporary practice permit with the College under our Courtesy Registration. To apply you will need to provide information to the College about the nature and duration of the dietetic work in Alberta and confirmation that you are currently registered with another Canadian Dietetic Regulator.
